Vincent Paul Kartheiser was born on the 5th May 1979 to Janet and Jim Kartheiser and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is 5' 10" and has four older sisters, Colette, Therese, Elise and Andre and an older brother Nathan. Vincent grew up in acting in a Childrens Theatre Company and Guthrie and also doing some tours and also choir.
His first theatre appearence was when he was just six years old, he ran up onto the
stage where his sister was performing and the director shouted at him telling him to go
away and learn to act. He has been in productions of *The history of Henry IV and V*,
*Rebecca of Sunnybrooke Farm* *Pipi Longstocking*, *A Christmas Carol*, *The Velvetenn
Rabbit* and *Raggedy Ann and Andy*. It wasn't long after this that he broke onto the big
screen.
He had a few small parts in *Iron Will*, *Little Big League* and *Untamed Heart*. He had
larger parts in a low budget film called *Heaven Sent*, his first major role was in
*Indian In The Cupboard* as Gillion in 1995, after this he appeared in *Alaska*,
*Masterminds*, *All I Wanna Do*, and *Crime and Punishment In Suburbia(2001) and also
*Unsaid*.
Along with his great talent for acting he majored in History at UCLA, in his spare time
he loves to read and a few of his favorite wroters are Egar Allen Poe and Shakespear. His
other hobbies includefencing, playing pool and mountain climbing. Taste in music vary from
Bob Marley to Rage Agaisnt the Machine. Favortie TV shows are The Simpsons and Beavis and
Butthead.
