Glenn Quinn was born in Dublin, Ireland on the 28th May 1970 and moved to the United States with his mother and two sisters in 1988. His first acting role was as a pool shark in the Richard Marx video "Satisfied". He later went onto star in Shout alongside John Travlota where he shared a kiss with Gwyneth Paltrow. He then went onto star in numerous other television shows and films, some being Roasanne as Becky's husband Mark and the more recent as we know Doyle on Angel. Although we all now that Doyle has in fact died in the series we are at a loss, Glenn was much loved within the Angel series and for whatever reason he decided to leave we wish him well. We cannot wish though that he hadn't left the series as things won't be the same without him.
He lived in LA and sadly died on the 2nd December 2002 - God bless you and keep you safe Glenn, we will miss you.
Quote:
"When you get to speak Irish, you become more at one with yourself, you kind of have
a spark when you use it, and I think it's a great dialect. When they first cast me, I was
a pretty avid fan of vampire movies and Celtic mythology, so I was excited to get a chance
to walk in Doyle's shoes and have fun with it."
