
She was born and raised in Sunnydale, priding herself on being beautiful but most of all popular with her fellow students. After discovering Buffy is in fact the Slayer she is assigned as one of the gang. She takes great horror in this, to even be associated with the 'losers' is a great burden on her. However she finds herself attracted to Xander and being faced with the secret gropes and kissing in dark closets and corners of the library she finally takes her stand and tells her friends that she will date and see whomever she pleases accepting herself as part of the gang. She continues to date Xander until the fateful night that Willow and he are kidnapped by Spike. Both Oz and she walk in on them in an embrace. She is deeply shocked and hurt and runs only to fall through the steps and impound herself on a large metal rod. She pulls through but reverts back to her old ways, shunning Buffy, Xander, Willow and even Oz.
After her Dad is taken by the IRS her College plans go out of the window and she decides to leave Sunnydale and got o LA to seek fame and fortune as an actress. She however did not realise just how hard this would be, she struggles to meet the rent and keep herself in clothes and food, until she finally runs into Angel. She joins him and Doyle and helps them set up their detective agency. Much to her dismay that they do not charge for their services.
And so she begins her fight alongside Angel and Doyle on the streets of LA, who would of thought that she would end up alongside them both in the City of Angels. Settling in well at Angel Investigations she still is adamant when people ask that she is an actress, however she continues to work for Angel due to no acting work being available at this time for her. Truth be told we all know that she loves working with Angel and after Doyle's untimely death which crushed them both, she found out shortly afterwards that Doyle had in fact passed over his gift of the visions to her. She is now Angel's link to the Powers That Be. Although even this gift has put her in danger on a number of occasions, but still she stands firm alongside Angel and now Wesley...
