Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23rd 1970, she grew up n Las Vegas Nevada in a strict household which all her friends called 'Alcatraz' but she always found lots of ways to get into trouble despite the strictness. When asked her goals she always says that she wants to get married and have children.
She was also a child model, appearing in beauty pageants. She was always given the option to quit whenever she wanted unlike a lot of other pagents. She became a cheerleader in High School and enjoyed it so much that she went on to do it for the San Diego Chargers in 19991. Her other jobs have included working in a video store, a waitress and also a aerobics instructor.
She started out appearing in commercials one being for Secret Antiperspirant. After appearing in several other commercials she was offered guest role in Baywatch and Pacific Blue this lead her onto a role in Malibu Shores which was a very short lived series unfortunately for her. She then auditioned for Cordelia Chase on Buffy with little experience, but who can ever imagine now someone else playing Cordelia!
As we all know Charisma has moved on from Buffy to work with David Boreanaz on Angel
and with the first season of Angel already over the new one looms very close, we all await
patiently...
