A Room With A View
| Cordelia's day isn't going to great! She finally realises that she can no longer stay in her apartment when she returns to find that the exterminator hasn't been and the place is crawling with cockroaches. Fleeing rather quickly she ends up on Angel's doorstep, himself dripping wet from being disturbed from his shower while she rants about her armful experience. Doyle however had been fighting off a Demon that had arrived to collect money that was owed by him. Angel finally does a deal with Doyle so that he can get rid of Cordelia (in the nicest possible sense) and he will sort out Doyle's demon problem. After Cordelia finally gives into Doyle's offer at a place she is ecstatic to find that it is just so perfect for her. Only one minor flaw it's previous owner hadn't yet vacated. Cordelia finds this out on the first night when she encounters the mean spirit of the old lady that once lived there. After doing some digging around they discover that the old lady had apparently been killed by her son and then he ran off with his fiancée. After trying to get rid of the sprit and failing they encounter the Demon's that are after Doyle while Cordelia faces the old woman alone, great sequence `the bitch is back` as she so greatly puts it and the old lady disappears. Cordelia joins Doyle and Angel back in the front and becomes somewhat possessed for a few minutes knocking the adjoining wall through to uncover the body of the old ladies son. Apparently she had killed her son and then had a heart attack soon after leaving him to die boarded up behind a wall and everyone else just assuming that he had killed her. Cordelia finally has the apartment she wants with a great house mate too, one who cannot been seen or heard, the old ladies son. |
