The Ring
| Angel is approached by a man at the office claiming that some non human
race have kidnapped his brother. He begs that Angel help him find his brother saying that
he will pay whatever it takes.. Angel finds the brothers booker and buys the information
on the where abouts of the guys brother, he tells him that he is at place underneath
Beach wood canyon.. Angel finds the place and goes underground to find the brother, he
sees a fight in progress and follows the guys that he is looking for as he enters he is
suddenly hit with the realisation that he has been set up, the man is in fact a fight boss
who captures demons so that they can fight and people pay to see them do it. Angel is
captured and placed in the secure unit with the other demons or slaves as they call them.
He is also fitted with a bracelet to prevent him from escaping as are all the others. If
they cross the red line they immediately disintegrate.. Wesley and Cordelia begin to worry, so Wesley goes to the last place where Angel said he was going, the man eventually tells Wesley where he is when he shoots him in the hand with a crossbow arrow. Wesley and Cordelia go to the fight and are faced with Angel in the ring, and killing his opponent. The only way that any of them can leave is when they make their 21st kill. Wesley and Cordelia eventually find a way to open the bracelet after Cordelia steals one at the fight. Horse hair is the only thing that will open it as Wesley finds out on more than one occasion it is not a good thing to use anything else. They enter the fights again and Wesley sneak into the back and confronts one of the Demons asking for Angel, who is in the ring fighting and unfortunately losing, the demon that he is fighting is almost free - Angel to be his 21st kill. But he doesn't kill him, Angel fights back and then doesn't kill the demon.... The demon that Wesley talks to however takes the key and unlocks all the other demons who then all burst into the ring.. They attack the staff and unlock Angel and the other demon, the boss almost kills Wesley until Cordelia pushes him over into the ring, they snap a bracelet on him and throw him over, he disintegrates immediately leaving everyone free. Is this a good thing that they have done or not? They have released all those demons into the city...... |
