Amy Acker was born in Dallas Texas on December 5th, she made her acting debut during 98-99 at SMT. Some of her credited roles include "Terry" Balm in Gilead, "Isabella" Measure for Measure, "Seta" Beast on the Moon at Stage West, Chorus, The Greeks, "Christina" Fefu and her Friends, and "Anna" Apparent Wind all for Southern Methodist University.
Amy also attended Southern Methodist University from 96-99. In the '96 Rotunda yearbook, she shared a room with the university president's daughter in her freshman year. Dee Darwin from the Division of Theatre in Southern Methodist University confirmed that Amy had received her BFA in Acting from SMU in 1999.
In 1999, Amy was nominated for best leading actress in the Leon Rabin Awards for "Therese Raquin". She has also been dating the actor Joseph Scarimbolo since December 2000, Amy is now currently starring in Angel. Her character in the show is Fred a girl that was sucked into another dimension through a portal and she is saved from this by Angel. She returns back to LA with them and joins them as a season three regular.
